Teacher and Leader Professional Development

Belinda delivers informative, engaging, and practical professional development (PD) workshops for senior leaders, teaching staff, and school employees.

These sessions focus on the short- and long-term benefits of nutrition and lifestyle choices, providing staff with simple, accessible strategies to support energy, focus, resilience, and overall wellbeing — both inside and outside the classroom.

The intent of these workshops is to:

  • Support staff health and wellbeing
  • Reduce stress and fatigue
  • Enhance creativity and efficiency
  • Improve job satisfaction and workplace engagement

Teaching is a demanding profession. With educators spending an average of 53.7 hours per week at work, and senior leaders often exceeding 58 hours, prioritising staff wellbeing is not a luxury — it is essential.

Research consistently shows that schools investing in staff health and wellbeing play a vital role in supporting the physical and mental health of their workforce. Belinda’s workshops provide practical tools and realistic strategies to help teaching staff remain healthy, nourished, and energised throughout the school year.

Sports Performance

Whether you coach elite athletes or manage a sports club or gym, this seminar provides practical, evidence-based nutrition strategies to support performance, recovery, and long-term health.

Participants will learn which nutrients are critical for sports performance, the scientifically supported intake ranges required to optimise outcomes, and how nutrition can be periodised across the training and competition calendar. The seminar includes clear guidance for pre-season, in-season, and post-season nutrition, alongside sport-specific recommendations across a range of athletic levels.

Designed to be immediately applicable, this session equips coaches, athletes, and support staff with the knowledge to enhance performance, support recovery, and reduce injury risk through targeted nutrition.

Weight Loss and Dieting

Do diets actually work? What does the science really say about weight loss?

This engaging, evidence-based presentation unpacks the realities of weight loss and dieting, separating persistent myths from well-established facts. Rather than promoting restriction or short-term fixes, the session explores how nutrition, physiology, behaviour, and environment interact to influence body weight and health.

Participants will learn why eating less is not the answer, how eating well supports metabolic health, and what sustainable, science-backed approaches look like in real life. The focus is on understanding (not blaming) the body, and building strategies that support health, performance, and wellbeing over the long term.

Designed to challenge outdated diet culture narratives, this presentation empowers audiences with clarity, confidence, and practical knowledge — once and for all.

Professional Performers

Dancer. Singer. Actor. Triple threat.

This performing arts–specific nutrition presentation is designed to support the unique physical, mental, and emotional demands of amateur and professional performers. The session explores evidence-based strategies to manage performance stress and anxiety, support immune function, and sustain energy across rehearsals, training blocks, and performance seasons.

Drawing on her background as a former Arts Academy student (BAPA represent!) and an experienced industry performer, Belinda combines lived experience with clinical nutrition expertise. She shares practical, realistic strategies to support stress management, body composition considerations, illness prevention, performance stamina, and overall health and wellbeing — without compromising artistry or enjoyment of food.

This session is engaging, relatable, and grounded in science, equipping performers with tools to feel fuelled, resilient, and performance-ready.
